Jared Germaine, Birch Run High School. Very tough young man with an outstanding resume. National champion in Borderwars last year, fourth in Borderwars Nationals this year at 103, against some national monsters. He was runner up in the TOC in Ohio, last year. Also, a list of MMWA accomplishments. We are excited for Jared's future. He is one of the outstanding student-athletes from our Northern Elite Youth Club.
*Edited to reflect division 3.

I'd confer that Jared will have a great year as a freshman and brings an outstanding level to the field...he should dominate and possibly be a state medalist...good luck Jared!

Taylor Smith from Hudson will be a top contender for Div. 4. He took out the #1 seed at Addison Regionals last year at 91 lbs.

Simply a statement that giving up over 15% of his bodyweight and making it through tough Districts shows determination that should transfer to this year. Last Sat. He pinned Napoleon, Morenci, Jonesville 1st per and beat Plymoth-Canton 12-1 dec

This is what I know, guess, have collected or stolen Ewalt (112 so far, don't count 103 out) Bassett undeated so far Webster PR he was D3 last year Smith Hudson...small but impressive wins Timmerman- Addison adds another good 103er in the mix Sobeck-only loss to Petoskey 5-1 but he hasn't seen really tough competition yet

Now that we've seen all the freshman and we're a good ways into the season, how are all the little 3 pounders ranking up? I've heard tons on the d4 mini-men but nothing on the d3 guys yet...
